Abstract: The present invention provides methods of use of hexokinase 2 (HK2)/mitochondria-detaching compounds, including jasmonate derivatives and piperazine derivatives and pharmaceutical compositions including such compounds for inducing immune responses in a subject, including potentiating the immune response to hyperproliferative disorders such as cancer and potentiating the immune response to infectious diseases.
Abstract: The present invention provides methods of use of hexokinase 2 (HK2)/mitochondria-detaching compounds, including jasmonate derivatives and piperazine derivatives and pharmaceutical compositions including such compounds for treating, inhibiting, or suppressing a hexokinase-2 (HK2)-expressing cancer.
Abstract: A paper stock adapted to be employed in transport systems utilizing projecting pin-type sprocket drives includes at least one row of a plurality of spaced-apart and aligned pin-engageable drive apertures extending the length thereof, each of which drive apertures is formed by a partially open circular die-cut line having a gap between its ends of approximately 0.010 inches to 0.040 inches, the gap being oriented at the leading edge of the resulting aperture, thereby forming a strengthening hinge-like connection between the paper stock and the aperture blank when such blank is subsequently displaced, such as by engagement with a projecting pin on a drive sprocket mechanism of a transport system used to move paper stock through a machine.
Abstract: A precision hand-held label imprinter and dispenser includes a compact case or frame with a projecting handle and an applicator roller located remote therefrom, together with a dialable imprinter and platen assembly arranged so that a trigger lever associated with the handle may be manually acutated in one direction to imprint label stock (tape) by driving the platen across an imprinter in an engaged condition to force the printing medium and label stock thereagainst and operates in the opposite direction to separate the imprinter and platen and to simultaneously advance the printing medium and to advance the printed label stock to the applicator roller. Through a series of connected drive elements with the trigger lever, the device times the several functions so that accurate reproductions with high resolution of the dialed imprint information on each label is assured.
