  • Patent number: 6797746
Abstract: An ultraviolet radiation curable organic ink composition, comprising 80% to 95% by weight of an epoxy-polyurethane-based ink; 0.5% to 8% by weight of an additive including a mixture of polyethylenic waxes and polythetrafluoroethylenic waxes; 1% to 8% by weight of a blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate catalyst; and an adhesion promoter primer including 0.15% to 3% by weight of a silane, which can be directly included in the ultraviolet radiation curable organic ink composition or independently applied to a substrate, in order that the blocked aliphatic polyisocyanate catalyst promote a polymerization reaction and a crosslinking reaction between the epoxy-polyurethane-based ink and the adhesion promoter, when heated to 160 to 200° C., forming an interpenetration network.

  • Patent number: 6510173
Abstract: An information stream of binary symbols is divided into serial packets of N binary symbols. The method further includes serial-parallel conversion of binary symbols in each serial packet and repeating N times the parallel packet thus obtained in order to form a serial-parallel packet of binary symbols. The binary symbols are permuted in the duration interval of each serial-parallel packet, and orthogonal codes generated according to the above binary symbol permutation are then applied. A space-diversity channel is then assigned to each serial group of the serial-parallel packet of coded binary symbols thus obtained. All the serial groups of coded binary symbols, each coded binary symbol having been previously spread by a user spreading code, as well as pilot signals of the corresponding space diversity channels are simultaneously transmitted.

  • Patent number: 5807419
Abstract: An apparatus for shaping and transferring of a glass article is provided for a glassware forming machine in order to shape a glass parison in a blowing mold and to transfer the shaped glass article from the blowing mold to a deadplate in front of the machine. A blow nozzle, a blow head, and a take-out mechanism are coupled in a housing to form, cool, and grip the article. The blow nozzle is provided to blow air for the forming of the article and to cool the article once that article has been shaped. The blow head is provided to form a pressure chamber when the blow head is positioned on the blowing mold during the shaping of the glass article, the blow nozzle passing within and through the blow head. The take-out mechanism for gripping the glass article is pivotally mounted in an external part of the housing for movement between a gripping position to grip the glass article after the article has been shaped in the blowing mold and a retracted position to release the article.

  • Patent number: 5656051
Abstract: The invention relates to a cooling method and a mold arrangement for the manufacture of glass articles or similar materials. The mold arrangement of this type includes a plurality of cooling passageways distributed independently and longitudinally around of the periphery of said mold, for the flow of a cooling fluid. A fluid distribution chamber coupled in coincidence with the cooling passageways, for the flow of the cooling flow, independently for each one of said passageway of the mold. A fluid regulating plate is coupled with the fluid distribution means, to regulate independently the flow of cooling in each one of the passageways of the mold, to regulate and control the cooling curve of said mold.

  • Patent number: 5637128
Abstract: A gob distributor for glassware forming machines which include at least one curved distribution scoop mounted on a vertical turning shaft, for each one of the gobs which are simultaneously fed by a feeder. A housing which having at least one gear which turns on its axial axis, together with a central shaft, coupled at the housing and, which is coupled in coincidence with the vertical shaft of each one of the distribution scoops. A rack coupled in coincidence with the gears of each one of the distribution scoops to move said gears with a rotational movement and thus, provide a simultaneous and synchronized turn to each one of the scoops. A rotatory driver member coupled to the rack, in order to permit a forward and backward movement of the rack and thus be able to effect the rotational movement of the gears.

  • Patent number: 4668269
Abstract: Hot molds are internally cooled by providing a plurality of cooling passages having first and second opened ends, in the body of said molds; a plurality of blowing heads, each of which having an inner flow convertor defining an inner anular chamber and a central suctioning passage, and is coupled to the first end of a corresponding cooling passage, in order to provide a tangential flow of cooling air to said cooling passage causing a swirl cooling current therethrough, which is accelerated by an air current that is suctioned through the suctioning passage of the blowing head, and which afterwards is exhausted through the second end of said cooling passage; and cooling air feeding means correspondingly coupled to each of said blowing heads, providing a flow of cooling air to said blowing heads.
