Abstract: The invention proposes a method to compensate for coning, sculling, and scrolling errors in a strapdown navigation system using a calculation technique that avoids using trigonometric and rounding functions. This method minimizes calculation errors and reduces computational load by eliminating the need for performing directional vector product multiplication twice. The technical solution used to compensate for motion errors that cause angle calculation errors is based on a function that approximates the calculation errors between methods, allowing the selection of the appropriate calculation method and rounding degree. The solution to compensate the velocity and position motion errors is achieved by above accurate angle error compensation.

Abstract: An autonomous power regulation method enhances quality of the received signal under severe conditions such as weak signal, unbalanced power among antennas, and not identical power among subcarriers. The improvement in signal quality also means the better performance of the physical uplink control channel format two in the fifth generation mobile network. In terms of antenna index, symbol index, and subcarrier type, power of the received signal is autonomously compensated as the following four steps: step 1: sequence generation and reference calculation; step 2: signal extraction and magnitude calculation; step 3: threshold generation, gain calculation, and power regulation; step 4: channel estimation, channel equalization, channel decoder, and statistics. With various types of the received signal power level and wide range of signal-to-noise ratio, the provided experiment results prove that the autonomous power regulation method is effective, reliable, and versatile.

  • Publication number: 20250208254
Abstract: The invention proposes a system to compress reflected signals on a fluctuating noise background applied to active surveillance radar systems. This is a new, simple and effective solution to compress signals before sharing or transmitting to the processing center. Unlike previous systems based on performing compression on each reflected pulse, this transparent proposed system processes reflected regions in the form of a two-dimensional (2D) correlation matrix, combined with the dynamic calculation, automatically accumulates and adapts to changes; the convolution and compression algorithms are simple and effective since they are associated with the characteristics of active radar reflected areas in both frequency and time domains. Thanks to that, the system proposed in this invention provides effective and superior compression performance compared to the proposed systems.

Abstract: The invention provides a method to build a machine translation model using syntactic information from another language to Vietnamese and vice versa. Specifically, the invention enhances machine translation quality by incorporating syntactic information into the model. Current machine translation models in the market learn syntactic information as features during the training process. However, this approach may not capture sufficient syntactic information, leading to inaccuracies in translation and contextual errors. Therefore, the invention focuses on exploiting syntactic information from the training data, aiming to produce accurate and contextually correct translations.

  • Publication number: 20250110206
Abstract: A method for filtering and removing false targets caused by sidelobes in pulse compression calculates the target filtering threshold to differentiate and eliminate false targets caused by sidelobes in pulse compression. It is applicable in radar signal processing systems using the polyphase P3-coded waveform (the P3 code) for both transmitted and received signals. This method leverages the characteristics of the P3 code's pulse compression output. Specifically, the sidelobes appear symmetrically on both sides of the main lobe, and the distance between the main lobe and the sidelobes is approximately equivalent to the pulse width of the transmitted signal, extending to both sides of the main lobe. For each pulse width of the signal, this distance is fixed and can be predetermined. Experimental results on radar systems have demonstrated that the proposed method effectively filters out all false targets caused by sidelobes in pulse compression.

Abstract: A wide-stopband high-frequency band-pass filter using L-shaped slotted microstrip resonators, where the filter's nearest spurious frequency is approximately 3.5 times the center frequency f0. The filter consists of the following components: dielectric substrate, copper layer, L-shaped slotted microstrip resonators, 50-Ohm impedance microstrip lines, and high-frequency connectors. The microstrip filter is implemented on a two-layer printed circuit board, designed by resonantly coupling the L-shaped slotted microstrip lines. It features a compact size and a wide stopband using a completely new resonant pattern, the L-shaped slotted microstrip line, which creates a filter with a wide stopband of approximately 2.5 f0. This design is significantly smaller than conventional filters at the same frequency that have a narrower stopband. The input and output high-frequency connectors are directly connected to the resonator through inductive or capacitive coupling via the 50-Ohm impedance line.
