    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a water-solubilized solution of mastic gum using a novel solvent system. The water-solubilized solution contains no organic solvent such as ethanol. With the new solvent system, a water-solubilized solution of mastic gum can be prepared with no organic solvents such as ethanol, but with a high amount of mastic gum dissolved therein.
