Abstract: A platform assembly includes a lower box, which is supported at the corners on inflatable feet, and a platform which is tiltable relative to the lower box by a lifter mechanism inside the box. The platform assembly is universally usable to support exercise equipment, in particular exercise bicycles such as spinning cycles. A complete studio may be outfitted by supporting each of a multitude of exercise cycles on a universal platform. A screen display in front of the cycles plays a moving picture of a trip, which is emulated by the participants in the exercise and workout routine. The platform is raised and lowered, as well as tilted, in synchronicity with the display. On raising the front of the platform, which represents an incline in the travel path, the resistance of the bicycle is increased.
