Abstract: An emergency vision assurance system device includes a housing; an inflatable enclosure having an inflated state and a deflated state, the main enclosure in the deflated state being disposed in the housing; a blower disposed in the housing; a hose with a first end attached to the blower and second end attached to the enclosure; and a switch disposed at the second end for operating the blower. The emergency vision assurance system device also includes a housing with an opening for access to the inflatable enclosure, the opening having a smaller opening when closed and a larger opening when open; and a cover for closing the opening.
Abstract: An emergency vision system includes a housing; an inflatable main enclosure having an inflated state and a deflated state, the main enclosure in the deflated state is disposed in the housing, the main enclosure in the inflated state is configured to be stationarily disposed between a user and a source of information required to be seen by the user during a smoke emergency; and a movable hand-held enclosure having an inflated state and a deflated state, the hand-held enclosure in the deflated state is disposed in the housing, the hand-held enclosure in the inflated state is configured to be used by the user to view a second source of information not visible through the main inflatable enclosure.
Abstract: A heads-up display apparatus for attachment to a goggle, comprising an enclosure for receiving within a heads-up display, the enclosure having a proximal wall adjacent a viewing window of the goggle and a distal wall away from the viewing window; the proximal wall is transparent; and the proximal wall and the heads-up display are in a line of sight of a user.
