    Abstract: A chemical composition for reconstituting with water to provide an electrolyte drink intended for consumption by animals, especially human beings. The drink permits replacement of essential body constituents lost as a result of metabolic processes. The composition comprises Na.sup.+, K.sup.+, Mg.sup.2+, Cl.sup.-, SO.sub.4.sup.2-, PO.sub.4.sup.2-, citrate, sucrose, dextrose, ascorbic acid and pyridoxine.
