Patents Assigned to VOKO Franz Vogt & Co.
  • Patent number: 4974913
Abstract: The invention relates to a work-station arrangement, in which a number of components can be secured on a longitudinal girder. The longitudinal girder has substantially a rectangular hollow profile, at the corners of which are provided longitudinal grooves, which preferably widen toward the inside of the longitudinal girder. Furthermore, a central carrier pipe is provided, which is constructed integrally with the longitudinal girder through bracings. A fastening groove can be provided at least on one side of the girder, which groove has tooth systems on its walls for threadedly receiving screws. The components have hook-shaped holding elements attached thereto and insertable into the longitudinal grooves for securing the components to the girder.

  • Patent number: 4962962
Abstract: The underlying object is to create a piece of seating furniture with which an automatic, bodyweight-dependent setting of the restoring force of the inclination mechanism and of the back part mechanism takes place.According to the invention, the seat part (2) is mounted on the seat carrier (5) vertically adjustably by means of a parallelogram linkage arrangement (9, 10) against the pretensioning force of a spring element (16), furthermore the back carrier (4) is mounted pivotally on the seat carrir (5), a pivoting of the back carrier (4) taking place against the pretensioning force of the spring element (16).The piece of seating furniture according to the invention can be used, for example, as office furniture, as a seat in a motor vehicle or in the domestic sector.

  • Patent number: 4685733
Abstract: A chair having a seat member rotatably supported about a swivel point in the region of its front edge relative to a seat carrier. The chair also has a back member connected to at least one lever which is pivotally supported on the seat carrier. The lever is connected so that in the case of an inclination of the back member there simultaneously occurs in a predetermined relationship an inclination of the seat member so that the area of the seat back in the region of the user's lumbar vertebra is changed in such a way that the support is at an optimum during each inclined position of the seat back. A control member is hingedly connected at one end to the back member below the point of its engagement with the lever. The control member is hingedly connected to the seat carrier or to the seat at its other end in a first pivot axle spaced from a second pivot axle of the lever on the seat carrier.

  • Patent number: 4612863
Abstract: A work table having a pedestal and a table top supported on the pedestal and adapted to support organizational walls, shelves, electrical devices, computers, and telephones, without limiting the work surface of the table or requiring that the work table be placed on a wall. The work table has in a rear region and below the table top a multifunction rail which extends the entire width of the table and is fixedly supported on the pedestal of the table. The multifunction rail is freely accessible from the rear of the table and can support devices which in turn support visible and organizational walls, shelves for additional items, files, lights, and so forth.
