Abstract: A method is for controlling an overrun condition in a hybrid vehicle having a combustion engine and additionally at least one electric motor as well as an overrun fuel cutoff, which interrupts a fuel supply to the combustion engine when the vehicle is in an overrun condition and restores the fuel supply when the combustion engine reaches or falls below a restoring speed. At least in a combustion engine at operating temperature, the fuel supply is restored at a restoring speed of at most 200 min?1, e.g., at most 100 min?1 above an idling speed of the combustion engine. The restoring speed may be in the range of the idling speed or only slightly above the latter. The restoring speed is thus clearly lowered as compared to the usual restoring speeds and extends the overrun fuel cutoff phases and thus reduces fuel consumption.

Abstract: A method for operating an internal combustion engine in the form of an Otto engine, especially of a motor vehicle, selectively uses carburetor fuel, especially gasoline or ethanol (E85) by direct injection into at least one combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine by means of at least one fuel injector. Optionally, instead of injecting ignition spark engine fuel or in addition to injecting ignition spark engine fuel, the internal combustion engine is operated with gas, especially CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) or LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). Abstract: A method for operating active stabilizers in a motor vehicle includes an on-road mode and an off-road mode. In the on-road mode a stabilizer is activated and deactivated in dependence on operating parameters of the motor vehicle, in particular the travel speed and/or the lateral acceleration and/or a level sensor system, wherein in the activated state rolling motions of the vehicle are reduced by introducing torque into the stabilizer or stabilizers that counteracts the rolling motion. In the off-road mode, the stabilizer is deactivated up to a given travel speed or, in case of an alternate jouncing of the wheels, a control of the stabilizer is performed such that a downward force of the rebounding wheel is increased. Wheel slip may be used as a parameter when controlling the stabilizers. A motor vehicle having active stabilizers is also provided.
Abstract: A method and a device are for activating an electric parking brake of a motor vehicle, e.g., a road motor vehicle. Initiation of a connection process is recognized for disconnecting a drive motor of the vehicle when the vehicle is parked. The electric parking brake is initially activated after the initiation of the parking step, and the drive motor is disconnected thereafter. As a result, the drive motor may be used to activate the parking brake.

The pressure outlet (24) of the exhaust gas charger (18) is connected to the intake inlet (28) of the mechanically driven charge unit (20) via an on-off butterfly valve (26) and upstream of said on-off butterfly valve (26) to the intake pipe (32) via a load butterfly valve (30).

Abstract: The automated switching of a vehicle lighting system is to be made more reliable. To this end, it is provided that the entire data flow from the sensors to a lighting device, which receives the control signals from a transmission module, is implemented in dual-track fashion throughout. This provides the corresponding redundancy and increases the required reliability. Abstract: A method for a shift control of a drivetrain of a motor vehicle includes providing the drivetrain of the motor vehicle as a hybrid drivetrain wherein an electric machine is connected to an input shaft of an automated stepped shift transmission and wherein an internal combustion engine is connected to the input shaft of the automated stepped shift transmission via a decoupling clutch. Currently valid shift characteristic curves used for triggering respective shifts of the automated stepped shift transmission are determined respectively in dependence of current driving and operating parameters by performing an interpolation between a first limit shift characteristic curve for a first driving characteristic and a second limit shift characteristic curve for a second driving characteristic wherein the respective limit shift characteristic curves are identical in all operating modes, however a permissible interpolation range in a purely electric operation is limited.
Abstract: A speech support system for a vehicle with a first microphone and second microphone and a third microphone, as well as with a first loudspeaker, a second loudspeaker and a third loudspeaker, in which, by means of the speech support system, can maintain one communication path each from the first microphone to the second loudspeaker and/or from the first microphone to the third loudspeaker, as well as from the second microphone to the third loudspeaker and from the third microphone to the second loudspeaker. By means of the speech support system, a communication path can selectively be maintained from the first microphone to a telephone, and a communication path from telephone to the first loudspeaker, while maintaining communication path from the second microphone to the third loudspeaker and the communication path from the third microphone to the second loudspeaker.
