Patents Assigned to VOLT TECHNOLOGY LIMITED
  • Patent number: 12068460
Abstract: The invention relates to a battery (100) that works by regulating the power source (112) to provide a suitable voltage output so that the user's devices/products using the battery will have a high performance among several other advantages. The battery (100) comprises a positive terminal (102); a negative terminal (112); a power source (114); and a voltage regulation device (110). The voltage regulation device (110) is operatively connected to the positive terminal (102), the negative terminal (112) and the power source (114). The voltage regulation device (110) includes electronic components that are operatively connected to each other in order to regulate an output voltage in a programmed variable level.

  • Patent number: 12013438
Abstract: The technology relates to a capacity indicator for use with a battery. One aspect of the technology provides an improved activation circuit for a capacity indicator that is easier to use and less prone to false alarms. A further aspect of the technology provides an improved indicator which is able to indicate battery capacity without requiring the use of expensive battery labels such as thermochromic strip. A further aspect of the technology provides a capacity determination circuit which is housed within a battery and which is able to provide a more accurate indication of battery capacity.

  • Patent number: 11527781
Abstract: The invention relates to a battery which includes an internal voltage regulation device for regulating the output voltage of the battery, and an input voltage applied to the battery. The voltage regulation device may be configured to provide an output voltage which is less than an internal power source voltage. A switch is provided to switch the voltage regulation device between operating modes in order to control the output voltage regulation, and protect the internal power source from damage.

  • Publication number: 20210135473
Abstract: The invention relates to a battery (100) which includes a voltage regulation device (110) for regulating the output voltage of the battery. The voltage regulation device (110) may be configured to provide an output voltage which is greater than, less than or equal to an internal power source (114). The voltage regulation device may also be configured to regulate an input voltage for charging the internal power source (114). A switch is provided to switch the voltage regulation device (110) between operating modes in order to reduce the self-discharge rate of the battery, or to protect the internal power source (114) from damage.
