  • Patent number: 11480595
Abstract: The invention relates to the estimation of a time-variable physical quantity by a distributed system comprising a centralized platform and a set of distributed measurement devices each communicating with the platform via a communication network, on the basis of the measurement (100), by each device of the set, of a local datum representative of the physical quantity, the collection (120) by the centralized platform, over a predetermined sampling period, of measurement samples originating from a subset of devices of said set via said communication network, and the estimation (130) of the physical quantity over the sampling period on the basis of the collected samples. According to the invention, each device of said set executes (110), in each sampling period, a local algorithm deciding randomly and based on a sending probability associated with each device, whether the corresponding measurement device is part of said subset.

  • Patent number: 11183873
Abstract: A method is provided for smoothing of an overall load curve. The method includes aggregation of a plurality of elementary load curves. In one example, the method makes provision to determine (S1) a regulation period di associated with the load i; determine and store each elementary load curve by obtaining (S2) a plurality of measured consumption samples with a sampling period Tech that is a submultiple of each regulation period di. Starting from a reference time common to all of the loads, the method time-shifts (S3) the operation of each load i by a random shift ?ti depending on the sampling period Tech, on the regulation period di determined for the load i and on a random integer value Ni associated with the load i.

  • Patent number: 10060657
Abstract: A ventilation or air-conditioning device includes a first component for generating heat or cold, a programmer second component, a power supply circuit shared by the first and second components, and a controller for the power supply circuit. The first and the second components cooperate to output air at a selected temperature. The device includes a relay for cutting off the supply of power to the first component. The relay is activated separately from the controller, and is arranged in the circuit such that the supply of power to the second component is independent of the state of activation of the relay.

  • Patent number: 9934680
Abstract: An apparatus for managing the control of an electrical device controllable by infrared control signals (IR_Cmd) from an infrared remote control. The apparatus is placed opposite an infrared receiver module of the electric device so as to receive on the infrared receiver any infrared control signal (IR_Cmd) from the remote control and to prevent any infrared control signal (IR_Cmd) from the remote control from directly reacting the infrared receiver module. A controller controls the transmission to the electrical device, via the infrared emitter, of infrared control signals generated from infrared control signals (IR_Cmd) received by the infrared receiver or control signals received by the interface module, in accordance with a set of compatibility and/or priority rules relating to the execution of the received control signals.

  • Patent number: 9217764
Abstract: A method is provided for measuring and modulating in real time the electrical consumption of electrical appliances. The method includes measuring in real time the current consumed by each of the electrical appliances on each electrical line portion on which each electrical appliance is situated and extracting the frequency and the voltage of the electrical signal on each electrical line portion. The difference in frequency are calculated and an alert signal is generated associated with an electrical line portion when the difference in frequency on this electrical line portion is greater than a predetermined frequency threshold value (fthreshold) and/or the difference in voltage on this electrical line portion is greater than a predetermined voltage threshold value (Vthreshold).

  • Patent number: 8364322
Abstract: A method of managing and modulating in real time the electrical consumption of a set of consumers, includes measurement in real time of the electrical consumption of a plurality of targeted sets of electrical equipment in operation, each set of equipment being situated in the home of a consumer, the measurement of the consumption of such equipment being performed by means of an electrical regulation module situated in the home of the consumer. The consumption measurements are transmitted by the modules to a central server. If a global setpoint, at a given moment, indicates that a certain total power should be cancelled, sending by the server, to certain of the modules, the instruction to selectively and temporarily cut the electrical power supply to the electrical equipment. Instruction sent by the server are received and executed by these modules.
