Abstract: Method and apparatus for activation of an emergency brake function (8; 8′) within a vehicle (1) in dependence of whether a regular brake function. The method and apparatus include a first brake circuit and a second brake circuit that are out of order. A first sensor (20; 20′) is included for detecting whether the pressure (p1) in the first brake circuit falls below a first limit value (p1G). A second sensor is included (21; 21′) for detecting whether the pressure (p2) in the second brake circuit falls below a second limit value (p2G). A means is also provided (16; 24, 25, 26) for activation of said emergency brake function if the pressure (p1) in the first brake circuit falls below the first limit value (p1G) at the same time as the pressure (p2) in the second brake circuit falls below the second limit value (p2G). An activation process for an emergency brake function is provided regarding the method.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for estimating damage to an object, with at least a first parameter which corresponds to an operational state for the object and at least a second parameter which corresponds to a condition during the operational state being determined by at least one operation measurement, and with such measurement being carried out repeatedly. A total load that is defined by the total influence of the first and second parameters on the life of the object is then calculated. The invention also relates to a method and a system for controlling the use of the object.

Abstract: Method and device for the determining a maximum allowed velocity (Vmax) for a vehicle (1) when going downhill (2). The invention includes a detector (11) for detection of current inclination (alpha) of the vehicle (1) in relation to a horizontal plane (3), and means (10) for the determination of a value relating to the maximum allowed velocity (Vmax) of the vehicle in dependence of at least the value of the inclination (alpha). The invention also relates to a procedure for the control of the velocity. The invention provides a procedure for velocity control that takes the inclination into account when going downhill.

Abstract: An articulated hauler, such as a dumper, is disclosed. The hauler includes a vehicle part housing or carrying the drive engine, and a load-bearing vehicle part. The vehicle parts are pivotably interconnected about a vertical pin. The load-bearing vehicle part is provided with at least one first wheel axle driven by the drive engine via a mechanical transmission is arranged at a first distance from the vertical pin. The vehicle part bearing the drive engine is provided with at least one second wheel axle driven by the drive engine. The second wheel axle is arranged at a second distance from the vertical pin. The second wheel axle on the vehicle part bearing the drive engine is also able to be driven via a hydrostatic transmission.
