Abstract: A fifth wheel assembly for coupling a trailer to a truck tractor is provided and includes a fifth wheel and a supporting structure for supporting the fifth wheel on the rear part of the tractor truck. The supporting structure includes a sliding arrangement enabling the fifth wheel to be repositioned between different positions. A number of sensors are positioned on the supporting structure and on the fifth wheel and are included in a control system for predetermined information and control of operating conditions.

Abstract: A method in an internal combustion engine for controlling a fuel injector of the unit injector type which includes a plunger that is driven by a rotating camshaft and during a working stroke generates a hydraulic pressure increase in the fuel. Pressure build-up is regulated by a spill valve the injection sequence is regulated by a needle control valve. The spill valve and the needle control valve are regulated in such a way that additional plunger retardation force is produced in a part of a working stroke in addition to the normal retardation force that is produced by the plunger return spring and the flow resistance in the injector.

Abstract: Cabling for a motor vehicle includes at least one fluid hose, a first cable for heating the fluid hose and at least one electrical connector for connecting the cable to an electrical supply, and at least one hose connector for connecting the fluid hose to a cooperating connector means. The hose connector may be provided with an electrically heated device arranged to heat at least part of the hose connector.
