Abstract: An instrument for the manipulation of the light wavefront, and a method for the manipulation of the light wavefront. The instrument for the manipulation of the light wavefront comprises: two or more active light modulation areas, and an optical system that determines an optical path between the active light modulation areas, which conjugates the planes (2, 6; 9, 12) of the active light modulation areas, the optical system comprising at least one mirror (4; 11) and at least one lens (3, 5; 10), wherein the active light modulation areas have a phase modulation depth of equal to or less than ? radians.

Abstract: Method to design manufacture an intraocular lens, comprising an optical part and haptics part, in which the optical part comprises an anterior surface with negative refractive power and a posterior surface with positive refractive power, in which in order to determine the refractive power D of the anterior surface of the optical part and the refractive power D? of the posterior surface of the optical part the following steps are performed: a plurality of light rays are provided over the normal eye, both on the optical axis (1001) and forming different angles (714, 715, 716) with respect to the optical axis (1001), for each light ray with its angle the axial length of the eye and the refractive power of the cornea are measured, determination of the shape of the retina (200) through a mathematical fit to an aspherical surface that contains the measured points, calculation of the arc length S that goes from the intersection of the optical axis with the retina (200) of the eye to the intersection of the light

Abstract: The invention relates to an ophthalmic instrument and method for measuring, controlling, and handling aberrations (1) of the eyes (2, 3), which further simultaneously provide visual stimulants when operating same. The instrument consists of a single device for correcting aberrations (4) as well as a single aberration sensor (5), optically connected by an optical system (14). A lighting system (9) introduces beams of light into both eyes. The measurement, control, and handling of the aberrations (1), as well as the providing of visual stimulants (6), are simultaneously and binocularly (7, 8) carried out.
