    Abstract: A system for reducing turbulence and therefore improving fuel efficiency for land-operated vehicles uses at least one linear array of vortex generators along typically a leading edge of a vehicle profile. I addition an aerodynamic bug diversion system is provided for creating and directing an airflow shield to prevent bugs and other lightweight debris from hitting the windshield of a moving vehicle.
