Abstract: Cloth or fabric fan blades self-inflate when rotated about an axis to produce air movement, the blades being secured to a fan hub which is in turn connected to a fan motor assembly that provides the rotational force to inflate the blades, the blades collapsing upon contact with any object for safety purposes, the innovative blades being lightweight and safe such that no fan guard is required.
Abstract: An assembly for securely mounting and retaining a protective grill onto an appliance housing, comprising fasteners secured to the appliance housing and corresponding prongs extending from the protective grill wherein the grill may be removably mounted to the appliance housing by inserting the free end of the prong into an aperture in the fastener, whereby spring tension resiliently urges a portion of the fastener toward the opening over which the grill is mounted and around the prongs.
Abstract: The invention is generally directed to an evaporative humidifier having a water distribution system capable of quietly maintaining a continuously saturated wicking element through the use of a pump and water distribution troughs that allow water to be continuously flushed onto the tops of the wicking elements such that greater humidification of the air is achieved and the life of the wicking elements are extended.

Abstract: A humidifier water bottle having an opening therein with a funnel shape to assist filling, the same opening also performs a valving function as to the water in the bottle which blocks the flow of water as the bottle is rotated from a horizontal position to a near vertical position whereupon the geometry of the opening allows the water to flow into the reservoir of the humidifier and maintain a constant level.
