Abstract: The present invention is related in general to air circulators, and in particular, to an air circulator with a vein control system to direct and adjust airflow patterns. According to an exemplary embodiment, the present invention provides adjustable, vertical veins that are attached to the outlet of a tower fan. According to a preferred embodiment, the veins are pivotally mounted in such a way that by turning a knob, the veins can either be directed into a focused air-flow pattern or adjusted to a divergent air-flow pattern, or at any setting in between.

Abstract: The present invention provides an improved blade and blade hub assembly. According to a first preferred embodiment, the present invention provides an apparatus for attaching light-weight foam blades onto an injection molded hub to be used in an unguarded fan assembly. According to a further preferred embodiment, the present invention preferably further provides a foam blade design in which the more centrally located portion of the blade is inserted into slots that are molded into an injection molded hub. According to a further preferred embodiment, the slots of the present invention preferably keep the blade in a desired camber and support the blade in the proper angle and orientation.
Abstract: The present invention provides an improved portable steam humidifier. According to a preferred embodiment, the improved humidifier of the present invention preferably includes a spiral mixing chamber connected to a steam chamber, a spiral outlet duct, an inlet duct and an outlet grill. According to a preferred embodiment, the inlet duct preferably receives air from an inlet fan and directs the air into the spiral mixing chamber where the air is mixed with water vapor from the steam chamber. According to a further preferred embodiment, the air is further directed from the spiral mixing chamber through the spiral outlet duct out through the outlet grill.

Abstract: The present invention is related to an improved fan design. According to an exemplary preferred embodiment, the improved fan design of the present invention preferably includes a fan main body having fan blades, a front grill, a flexible guide cone, an air inlet, and supporting legs movable from a first position to a second position. According to preferred embodiments, the flexible guide cone is preferably also movable from a first position to a second position. In the first position, the flexible guide cone preferably forms a first shape which conforms to the surface of the air inlet. In a second position, the flexible guide cone preferably extends away from the air inlet.
Abstract: The present invention is related to an improved fan design with an impact absorbing structure. According to an exemplary preferred embodiment, the improved fan design of the present invention preferably includes a lower fan assembly connected to an upper fan assembly using a mounting bracket. According to a further aspect of the present invention, the lower fan assembly preferably may include a fan base having multiple supporting legs which are preferably rotatably connected to the lower fan assembly. According to a further aspect of the present invention, the upper fan assembly of the present invention may include a fan motor and fan blades enclosed within a protective structure. According to a further preferred embodiment, the protective structure of the present invention may preferably include an outer fan cover, a fan grille, an external cage and a perimeter shock absorbing ring extending around the circumference of the outer fan cover.
