Abstract: A flip-up arm rest for a chair or other seating. The arm rest is rotatably connected to a control housing through a connecting rod. The control housing includes a central passage to accommodate a control pin which extends from the connecting rod. A stop pin is housed in a passage which communicates with the central passage and serves to limit rotation movement of the arm rest.
