Abstract: A dental abutment core with a prosthetic connection, a pillar and a shoulder located between the prosthetic connection and the pillar. The pillar has anti-rotational elements for preventing a custom body from rotating with respect to the dental abutment core. The pillar has a first portion adjacent to the shoulder, a second portion adjacent to the first portion, and a third portion farthest from the shoulder. A cross section of at least part of the first portion is circular and has an outer diameter which is lower than a cross section dimension of the second portion. The anti-rotational elements are located in the third portion. A method for manufacturing a dental abutment with such dental abutment core is also described.

Abstract: Molds for fabrication of custom and potentially modifiable abutments and impression posts for dental implants with various degrees of angulations (including zero degrees) and various dimensions are provided, with a generally oval shape that expands laterally upwards, a symmetrical or asymmetrical cross-section, and regular surfaces, that are fabricated as one piece, or as two coupling pieces snapping onto each other. Custom abutments achieve the development of a custom gingival emergence profile, three dimensionally, which is potentially modifiable according to the needs of each particular clinical case. Custom impression posts that correspond in dimensions and angulations to the abutments allow the accurate recording and transfer of the developed gingival emergence profile from the mouth onto the working cast, where the final implant prosthesis is fabricated.

Abstract: A dental tools system with a plurality of guide tabs; a mold and a plurality of tissue punch heads. The mold has a plurality of mold holes, each mold hole having a top portion and a bottom portion. Each guide tab fits in the top portion of one of the mold holes and each tissue punch head fits in the top portion of one of the mold holes. A method of placing dental implants is also described.
