In some embodiments, the maximum movement of the seat and backrest may be limited by restricting movement of the coupling device.

Abstract: An item of seating furniture contains a seat providing a seat surface, a generally circular foot panel positioning the item of seating furniture on a floor, and a central part, which connects the seat to the foot panel and of which a vertical center axis runs centrally through the foot panel. The foot panel is of at least partially convex configuration and that side of the foot panel which is directed toward the floor is configured, at least in part, as a non-slip surface. This creates an ergonomic item of seating furniture which stands in a stable state.

Abstract: A height positioning device for a presentation device contains a carrier to which a presentation element can be fastened, and a mount to which the carrier is attached and movable between first and second height positions. Also provided are a flexible traction mechanism having one end fastened to the carrier and a second end fastened to the mount or a stationary element, and a deflection element around which the traction mechanism is guided in the manner of a pulley. To hold the carrier at any desired position, the height positioning device contains a gas compression spring having a first end fastened to the deflection element and a second end supported on the mount, an element of fixed height, on the carrier or an element which can be moved with the carrier, such that the spring compensates for a weight of the carrier and the presentation element.

Abstract: A supporting arm for a projection apparatus has first and second arm sections and an articulation apparatus therebetween for interconnecting the arm sections. The projection apparatus can be fastened on a free end of the second arm section. The articulation apparatus permits the second arm section to rotate relative to the first arm section between a first position, in which the longitudinal axes of the arm sections run substantially mutually parallel, and a second position, in which the longitudinal axes of the arm sections run substantially mutually at right angles. A spring apparatus is coupled to the arm sections and has a spring force selected to compensate for a weight force of the second arm section and of the projection apparatus fastened thereon over substantially an entire rotational excursion of the second arm section relative to the first arm section. A presentation apparatus having the supporting arm is also provided.

The tablet is fastened to a support element provided on one side of the base frame by way of a linkage mechanism, so that the table can swivel between a substantially horizontal position of use and a position of non-use. The tablet is dimensioned to support a notebook computer and the support element has a section running in a substantially horizontal plane, on which the tablet is pivotally fastened by way of the linkage mechanism. The substantially horizontal section is oriented at an angle to the direction of the sitting surface, and the tablet can swivel about an axis substantially parallel to this section.

Abstract: A desk, in particular a pupil desk, has a desk top and a desk frame. The desk frame has two lateral C underframes that are respectively disposed below the desk top and respectively have two desk legs that are interconnected via a connecting section. The two lateral C underframes are respectively disposed laterally outside the desk top, and their two desk legs continuously diverge in the direction away from the desk top, at least in an end region averted from the desk top, such that the desk can be stacked easily and in a space saving fashion.
