Abstract: A chair has a seat with a seat shell. A frame for supporting the seat has, on its side facing the seat, a mounting strut running parallel to the plane of the seat shell. An underside of the seat shell if formed with a receiving profile for the mounting strut. The receiving profile has a fastening section extending from a circumferential edge of the seat shell parallel to a plane of the seat shell into the interior of the seat shell and having an access opening at the circumferential edge of the seat shell. A clamping strip is provided for clamping the mounting strut in the fastening section. The clamping strip is slid from the access opening in a direction parallel to a longitudinal direction of the fastening section and is fixed in its end position in the fastening section perpendicular to the plane of the seat shell.

Abstract: A seating furniture includes a seat with a seat surface, a pedestal and a tilt mechanism. The tilt mechanism is disposed between the pedestal and the seat and permits an inclination of the seat surface of the seat relative to the horizontal. In addition, the tilt mechanism has a lower bearing block mounted to the pedestal, and an upper bearing block fixedly connected to the seat. The lower bearing block has a convexly curved lower bearing surface on its upper side facing the upper bearing block, and the upper bearing block has a concavely curved upper bearing surface on its lower side facing the lower bearing block. The lower and upper bearing surfaces have substantially corresponding radii of curvature, so that the upper bearing block can be moved relative to the lower bearing block along the upper bearing surface. A tilt mechanism for seating furniture is also provided.

Abstract: A carrying case for storing items in a work environment includes a bag element for accommodating items having an access opening at the upper side when the bag element is in its position of use, and a dimensionally stable support frame to which an upper edge region of the bag element in the bag element's position of use is fixed in such a way that the access opening of the bag element is accessible through the support frame. A dimensionally stable holding bracket having a first projection and a second projection is provided on the support frame, permitting the carrying case to be hung from a board-like furniture element in such a way that the first projection makes contact with an upper side of the furniture element and the second projection makes contact with an underside of the furniture element.

Abstract: An item of table furniture has a table top and a table frame supporting the table top. The table top, in plan view, is formed with first pair of opposite edges and a second pair of opposite edges. One edge of the first pair of edges is convex and the other edge of the first pair of edges is concave. The convex curvature and the concave curvature of the first pair of edges has a predetermined first radius of curvature of substantially equal size. One edge of the second pair of edges is longer than the other edge of the second pair of edges. Such a table can be arranged together with items of table furniture of the same kind and also with other items of furniture to an array in many ways.

Abstract: A furniture frame contains a support column, a furniture leg to support the support column, a foot ring, and a fastening device affixing the foot ring to the support column. The fastening device contains a first threaded bushing being non-rotatably connected to the support column and has an external thread, and a second threaded bushing being non-rotatably connected to the foot ring and has an internal thread. The internal thread engages with the external thread. The second threaded bushing is rotatable about the first threaded bushing by at least one revolution such that the second threaded bushing can be axially moved relative to the first threaded bushing. The fastening device has as a locking element which prevents a relative movement between the first and the second threaded bushing in a first operating position and enables relative movement between the first and the second threaded bushing in a second operating position.

Abstract: An item of seating furniture contains a seat providing a seat surface, a generally circular foot panel positioning the item of seating furniture on a floor, and a central part, which connects the seat to the foot panel and of which a vertical center axis runs centrally through the foot panel. The foot panel is of at least partially convex configuration and that side of the foot panel which is directed toward the floor is configured, at least in part, as a non-slip surface. This creates an ergonomic item of seating furniture which stands in a stable state.

Abstract: A seating implement has a base frame, a sitting surface, a back rest, and a tablet. The tablet is fastened to a support element provided on one side of the base frame by way of a linkage mechanism, so that the table can swivel between a substantially horizontal position of use and a position of non-use. The tablet is dimensioned to support a notebook computer and the support element has a section running in a substantially horizontal plane, on which the tablet is pivotally fastened by way of the linkage mechanism. The substantially horizontal section is oriented at an angle to the direction of the sitting surface, and the tablet can swivel about an axis substantially parallel to this section.

Abstract: A supporting arm for a projection apparatus has first and second arm sections and an articulation apparatus therebetween for interconnecting the arm sections. The projection apparatus can be fastened on a free end of the second arm section. The articulation apparatus permits the second arm section to rotate relative to the first arm section between a first position, in which the longitudinal axes of the arm sections run substantially mutually parallel, and a second position, in which the longitudinal axes of the arm sections run substantially mutually at right angles. A spring apparatus is coupled to the arm sections and has a spring force selected to compensate for a weight force of the second arm section and of the projection apparatus fastened thereon over substantially an entire rotational excursion of the second arm section relative to the first arm section. A presentation apparatus having the supporting arm is also provided.
