Abstract: A lacrosse stick has a tubular metallic handle, disclosed as of aluminum alloy and being elliptical in cross section with the major axis of the elliptical shape being normal to the general plane of the lacrosse stick head. Dimensions and physical properties of the handle material are interrelated to provide desired balance of the lacrosse stick as a whole considered from the standpoint of handling by players, durability, freedom from failure by fracturing, and standardization in production.
