Abstract: A disc shaped throwing object comprises a soft disc having a central section and a rim (16) as well as a resilient ring (18) united with the rim (16), where the central section forms a disc centre through which a central axis is defined and which central section is joined to the rim (16), wherein the ring (18) has an untensioned state and a tensioned state, where the ring (18) and rim (16) radially encircle the central axis (AX) when the ring (18) is in the untensioned state and are folded about the central axis when the ring (18) is in the tensioned state.
