  • Patent number: 11462228
Abstract: A speech intelligibility calculating method is a method executed by a speech intelligibility calculating apparatus, the speech intelligibility calculating method including: a speech intelligibility calculating step of calculating a speech intelligibility that is an objective assessment index of a speech quality, based on a difference component between features found through an analysis of an input clean speech and an input enhanced speech, using one or more filter banks; and a step of outputting the speech intelligibility calculated at the speech intelligibility calculating step. This speech intelligibility calculating method is capable of calculating a speech intelligibility without any dependency on a speech enhancement method.

  • Patent number: 10975346
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel sialo-sugar chain, a process for producing the sialo-sugar chain, and a device for producing the sialo-sugar chain. A sialo-sugar chain can be easily and efficiently mass-produced by reacting a sugar wherein a hydroxy groups is substituted with an alkynyl group (herein sometimes referred to as “alkynylated sugar”) with a specific sialic acid donor in the presence of a sialic acid-introducing enzyme.

  • Patent number: 9855654
Abstract: A power assist robot apparatus is disclosed which is capable of assisting heavy-object lifting action and walking movement with fewer driving sources, and a method is disclosed for controlling the power assist robot apparatus. Two power-assist electric motors are located near opposite lateral sides in a right-left direction of the wearer's waist, respectively. Each lower-limb assist arm has one end fixed to a rotary shaft of the power-assist electric motor and the other end to which a lateral side of the thigh is attached. An upper-body assist arm placed at the wearer's chest and a main frame that holds the two power-assist electric motors at both ends thereof and is placed at the wearer's waist are connected by a driven rotary shaft which is rotatable about a vertical axis and a driven rotary shaft which is rotatable about a right-left axis.

  • Patent number: 8781819
Abstract: The invention relates to a periodic signal processing method, a periodic signal conversion method, and a periodic signal processing device capable of reducing the influence of periodicity without using a spectral model. Time windows are arranged such that a center of each of the time windows is at a division position which divides a fundamental frequency in a temporal direction into fractions 1/n (where n is an integer equal to or larger than 2) so as to extract a plurality of portions of different ranges from a signal having periodicity. A power spectrum for the plurality of portions extracted by the respective time windows is calculated, and the calculated power spectrum is added with a same ratio.

  • Publication number: 20080025521
Abstract: A method, device, system, program and recording medium for impulse response measurement which can improve a measurement accuracy without lowering the S/N ratio over the whole range, from lower frequencies to higher frequencies, of a measuring signal are provided. A signal generation unit (21) of a device for impulse response measurement (10-1) generates a W-TSP signal (x(t)) having characteristics of a TSP signal and a Log-TSP signal. A D/A conversion unit (22) converts the digital signal (x(t)) into an analog signal (x(t)) and outputs the converted signal to a headphone (2) or a speaker (5). An A/D conversion unit (23) inputs an analog signal (y(t)) received by a microphone (3) or a microphone (6) and converts the inputted signal into a digital signal (y(t)). An inverse signal generation unit (24) generates an inverse W-TSP signal (x(t)). A convolution unit (25) convolutes the signal (y(t)) and the inverse W-TSP signal (x?1(t)) thereby to calculate an impulse response (g(t)).
