Abstract: A new cultivar of Spiraea named ‘Walplum’ that is characterized by compact upright habit, deep red-purple new leaf tip growth which becomes olive green as growth continues. The buds of ‘Walplum’ are purple-red in color and develop into clusters of bright cerise colored flowers in late spring and early summer. ‘Walplum’ is hardy to USDA Zone 3.
