Abstract: A wall block having a block body and a vertical plane of symmetry. The block body having a front portion, a rear portion and a neck portion. The wall block including a core extending through the neck portion and dividing the neck portion into first and second neck wall members extending rearward from the front portion to the rear portion. The wall block having a flange extending downward from the block body. The wall block having a channel positioned in the rear portion of the block body. The wall block having a first plane parallel to the plane of symmetry that passes through the first neck wall member and a second plane parallel to the plane of symmetry that passes through the second neck wall member, the first and second planes being located approximately midway between the plane of symmetry and the lateral outermost points of the wall block.
Abstract: A building facade system includes framework having shelf members secured to the floor slabs. Vertical mullions are fastened to the shelf members and thereby hang therefrom. The mullions extend below the floor slab and include a riser portion extending above the floor slab. Horizontal support members fastened to the mullions support infill panels and are coupled to horizontal cap members which are fastened to the top terminal ends of the mullion riser portions. Intermediate support members fastened to the mullions support slab edge cover panels which can be opaque. Posts are fastened to the shelf members and are secured to the floor slabs within embedded channels. The posts are horizontally and vertically adjustably fastenable to the shelf members. The shelf members are thereby horizontally and vertically adjustable relative to the floor slabs. The weight of the panels, mullions and shelf members is transferred through the posts to the floor slab.
Abstract: A building facade system includes framework having shelf members secured to the floor slabs. The top terminal ends of vertical mullions are fastened to the shelf members, thereby hanging the mullions therefrom. Horizontal support members fastened to the mullions support infill panels and are coupled to shelf members which are on the below floor slab. Intermediate support members fastened to the mullions support slab edge cover panels. Posts are fastened to the shelf members and are secured to the floor slabs within troughs formed with embedded channels. The posts are horizontally and vertically adjustably fastenable to the shelf members. The shelf members are thereby also horizontally and vertically adjustable relative to the floor slabs. Terminal edges of the floor slabs can project into mullion cutouts.
Abstract: A mounting clip for attaching building boards to a support structure of a wall has a fixation arrangement attaching the mounting clip to a stud of the support structure. After that the mounting clip has been attached to the support structure, attachment tongues receive a respective groove of a building board, thus holding the building boards to the support structure. Each attachment tongue has at least one barbed grip member for locking the building board in an innermost position on the mounting clip. The innermost position has a deepest distance that the attachment tongue has been inserted into the groove of building board.
Abstract: A barrier wall has a first vertical support and a second vertical support. A first wall panel is disposed between the first vertical support and second vertical support. A second wall panel is disposed between the first vertical support and second vertical support over the first wall panel. An I-beam is disposed between the first wall panel and second wall panel. The I-beam includes a first flange and second flange extending into the first wall panel and second wall panel. A cable is disposed between the first wall panel and second wall panel. The I-beam includes a ridge around the cable. A grounding cable is attached to the I-beam. The first wall panel includes a first channel extending for a length of the first wall panel. A first sound absorbing material strip is disposed in the first channel. A traffic barrier is disposed under the first wall panel.
Abstract: Wall blocks, veneers, veneer connectors, walls, and methods of constructing walls are provided. More particularly, the invention relates to constructing walls in which a veneer panel is attached to a wall block with a connector and in which the front faces of the veneers have a desirable texture.

Abstract: A building board is finished in a first processing station via laterally operating processing means, where-in a first edge strip is glued along a first edge side of body element of the building board. In a second processing station a primary surface layer is glued, by vertically operating processing means, to cover the entire primary main side and the primary side of the first edge stripe. Thereafter, a vertical pressure is applied over the body element and the first edge stripe across a working direction while the body element and the first edge stripe pass the second processing station in such a manner that a primary side of the first edge stripe is brought in level with a primary main side of the body element when passing the second processing station.
Abstract: A semiconductor device, method of manufacture of a semiconductor device, and electronic system are disclosed. For example, the semiconductor device includes at least one trench disposed in a semiconductor substrate of the semiconductor device, wherein the semiconductor substrate has a first conductivity type. The semiconductor device further includes a polysilicon depleted gate shield disposed in the at least one trench, wherein the polysilicon depleted gate shield has a second conductivity type. The semiconductor device also includes a drift region disposed in the semiconductor substrate adjacent to at least one sidewall of the at least one trench, wherein the drift region has the first conductivity type, and a polysilicon gate disposed over the depleted gate shield in the at least one trench.
