    Abstract: A container for medical equipment, said container comprising a base and a lid pivotally connected together. A catch is provided on the lid and the base to hold them together according to a closed position. Upon release of the catch the lid is urged from a closed position to an opened position by at least one spring. Contacting surfaces providing pre-determined frictional resistance are also provided onto the container to control the movement of the lid between the closed and the opened position.
