Patents Assigned to Walterscheid Rohrverbindungstechnik GmbH
  • Patent number: 6983959
Abstract: A coupling for connecting hydraulic ducts has a female coupling (1) with a receptacle and a first locking face arranged around a longitudinal axis. A male coupling (2) forms a second locking face, arranged around the longitudinal axis. The male coupling (2) can be inserted in the direction of the longitudinal axis (4) through an opening into the receptacle (3). A holding element (9) has a ring (10) with several spring elements projecting from the ring (10). The spring elements (11) extend parallel to the longitudinal axis (4). Locking elements (12) are formed on the free ends of the spring elements (11). The spring elements (11) are, respectively, elastically deformable against a spring force radially out of a locking position into a releasing position. In the inserted condition of the male coupling (2), the first locking face (15) and the second locking (16) face one another.

  • Patent number: 6964435
Abstract: A coupling for connecting hydraulic ducts has a first coupling element (1), in the form of a female coupling, with a receptacle (3) and a first locking face (10), and a second coupling element (2), in the form of a male coupling, The second coupling element (2) has an annular groove (9) that forms a second locking face (27) insertable into the receptacle (3). Several locking elements (10) are arranged in the annular groove (9). The locking elements (10) are held in the annular groove (9) and can be pivoted between a locking position and a releasing position. In the coupled condition of the coupling elements (1, 2), the first locking face (24) is axially supported on the second locking face (25). An unlocking sleeve (28) is displaceable between a locking position and a releasing position on the second coupling element (2). By moving the unlocking sleeve (28) from the locking position into the releasing position, the locking elements (10) are displaced from the locking position into the releasing position.

  • Patent number: 6431613
Abstract: A pipe connection has a connecting member (1). The connecting member (1) has a first end face (4), a first conical bore (5), starting to taper from the latter, which defines a first cone angle (11). The connecting member also includes an axial bore length (9) followed by a bore (6). The outside of the connecting member (1) has a threaded portion (3). A nut (13) has a second conical bore (15) tapered in the direction opposite to the direction of the first conical bore (5). The second conical bore defines a second cone angle (16). A through-bore (17) is in the nut (13). A pipe (18) has a pipe projection (19) which extends into the bore (6) of the connecting member (1). A connecting portion (21) is on the pipe (18). A first conical tensioning face (22) which cooperates with the first conical bore (5) is on the connecting portion (21).

  • Patent number: 6237968
Abstract: The invention relates to a pipe connector with a connecting portion (4) formed by a non-chip producing method. On one pipe end of the pipes. The connecting portion (4) includes an outer conical face (7) and a first conical bore (10). A first connecting element (13) with a conical supporting bore (15) is adapted to contact the outer conical face (7). A second connecting element (17), in the form of a connecting body, is provided to thread onto the first connecting element (13), in the form of a nut. The second connecting element (17) has a counter sealing face (21) in the form of a conical bore. A sealing element (23) cooperates with the first conical bore (10) of the connecting portion (4) and with the counter sealing face (21) in the form of a conical bore of the second connecting element (17). The sealing element (23) has a first outer conical sealing face (25) and a second outer conical sealing face (26).

  • Patent number: 6168211
Abstract: A threaded connection for easily deformable thin-walled pipes (20) has a connecting member (1) with a cylindrical receiving bore (5) accommodating the pipe (20) and an outer thread (7). A nut (8) is provided with an inner thread (10) which is threaded onto the outer thread (7). The nut (8) has a through-bore (11) for the pipe (20) and a conical bore (13) which widens towards the connecting member (1). The pipe (20), at a distance from its end face (21), has a bulge (23) which is held in a clamped-in condition between the conical bore (13) and a conical supporting face (18) of a separate supporting ring (14). To limit the tightening movement, the supporting ring (14) has a stop face (19) against which the conical bore (13) comes to rest when the nut (8) is tightened. A holding face (17) on the supporting ring (14) is supported against the end face (3) of the connecting member (1).

  • Patent number: 5893591
Abstract: A tube connector (1) has a connecting member (2), a nut (7), and a tube (11). To connect the connecting member (2) to the tube (11), the tube includes a formation (12) with two formation portions (14, 16). The first formation portion (14) has a first tensioning face (13) which extends parallel to an end face (4) of the connecting member (2). The second formation portion (16) has a second tensioning face (15). The tensioning face (15) extends in such a way which corresponds to the second conical bore (9) of the nut (7). The end face (4) includes an annular groove to receive a seal (23). The seal (23) achieves a precision sealing effect. A connector (1) which includes a formation as described above provides advantageous sealing conditions and ensures that the formation cannot be overtightened, especially during repeat assembly procedures.
