Abstract: The invention relates to a rotation transformer for a cable connection, one end of said cable (4) executing a limited number of revolutions in relation to the other end, about a longitudinal axis (1), whilst maintaining an uninterrupted connection between both ends. The longitudinal axis (1) comprises separation discs (3). Known rotation transformers of this type have an extremely complex technical construction. The aim of the invention is to configure a rotation transformer in such a way that it can be produced simply and cost-effectively. To achieve this, the distance between the rotatable separation discs (3) is measured in such a way that a maximum two coils of the cable (4) lie on only one plane between two separation discs (3), that the cable (4) is guided through said discs without converging and that it is fixed and wound alternately from the outer diameter to the longitudinal axis (1) and vice versa between the pairs of separation discs (3).

  • Patent number: 7243752
Abstract: Device for inductive power supply and guidance of a moving object, with a primary inductance element extending as a conductive loop along a path provided for the object. A secondary inductance element is arranged on the object and can be coupled magnetically with the primary inductance element for power transmission. Several receiver inductance elements are arranged on the object and output measurement signals dependent on the magnetic field of the primary inductance element. An evaluation device determines a measure for the position of the object with reference to the conductive loop from the measurement signals. A regular arrangement of receiver inductance elements is provided, which extends on the object at least perpendicular to its direction of motion. The receiver inductance elements are simultaneously also connected to a data receiver device, which contains a way for extracting a data signal from the output voltage of at least one of the receiver inductance elements.

  • Patent number: 7116540
Abstract: A device for inductively transmitting electrical energy to at least one mobile load, with at least one primary conductor that extends along a designated path of the load in the form of a conductor loop and from which a secondary conductor arranged on the load is able to draw electrical energy. • Patent number: 6202831
Abstract: A work station feeding module with a rail includes a carriage guided thereon and movable along the rail. The work station feeding module includes at least one supply line guided in a flexible energy supply chain arranged within the rail. One end of the flexible energy supply chain is fixed with respect to the rail and the other end is fastened on the carriage. Such work station feeding modules have the disadvantage that only electric lines can be guided in such modules and additional feeding devices must be provided for other energy carriers or raw materials. The work station feeding module enables a simpler and more compact feeding of the work station and guarantees that at least one of the supply lines is a compressed-air line. A compressed-air outlet connection is provided on the carriage. The module has a continuous compressed-air channel in its longitudinal direction that is connected to the rail-fixed end of the compressed-air line through an output branch.

  • Patent number: 5929406
Abstract: A safety strip for use on moving devices with the danger of pinching has a plurality of contact elements assembled into a row under an axial prestress along the safety strip. Extending in these contact elements are electrically conductive contact pins that, in the off, i.e. non-operate state maintain a circuit through the adjacent contact elements by contact and in the event that the safety strip is deformed through some external force open the circuit through the spatial distance from each other. The axial prestress and control of the individual contact elements is effected by means of an elastic tubing. However, in the present state-of-the-art, such safety strips result in a high material load in the area of the contact zones between the individual contact elements and, in addition, have only a limited maintainability.
