Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing a liquid onto a vehicle generally consisting of an inverted, U-shape support frame providing a space for receiving a vehicle therethrough; at least one liquid dispensing device supported on said frame, having a shaft provided with a longitudinally disposed first passageway section communicable at one end thereof with a source of liquid under pressure, a second passageway section communicating with the first passage section and disposed at an angle relative thereto and a plurality of third passageway sections communicating with the second passageway section, spaced circumferentially and each disposed at an angle relative to a longitudinal centerline of the second passageway; and means for rotating the shaft about a longitudinal centerline thereof.

Abstract: A query resolution system can be used for redirecting, refining, and/or resolving user query terms. A query resolution system may resolve and enhance user query terms, received from a user or a search portal, through providing relational matches to the user query terms using a resolver taxonomy. The resolution system may include a cross-reference map linking the resolver taxonomy with an initial taxonomy in the search portal. Utilization of the resolver system may provide the user with search results from the search portal that the user would not have seen without application of the resolver system.

Abstract: A vehicle washing system includes an arch frame that moves on rails over and along the length of a vehicle. A rack support arm is rotatively connected to a horizontal cross member of the frame and a rack with vertically depending cleaning strips is connected to the support arm. Prior to activation, the vertically depending cleaning strips are located on the side(s) of the frame so that an unobstructed vehicle entry and exit way is provided. Once activated, the cleaning strips are rotated into position in contact with the vehicle. Thereafter, the rack support arm is reciprocated to move the strips back and forth across the vehicle as the frame moves. A dual-rod cylinder provides movement of the rack support arm into an active position with the cleaning strips in contact with the vehicle and also provides the reciprocating action. A rocker panel cleaning assembly is provided to clean the sides of the vehicle as the frame moves and the rack support arm reciprocates.
