Abstract: A method and apparatus for mounting a travel video disk player includes placing the video disk player behind the seat back in a soft bag, and the screen of the video disk player is located in the display window of the soft bag. A main body of the mounting apparatus is an open-topped soft bag corresponding to the shape of the video disk player, a center of a front top edge of the soft bag extends upwardly to form a tongue-shape pressing strip, the front of this tongue-shape pressing strip is attached to a top of the back of the soft bag. A front of the soft bag has an open display window corresponding to the video disk player display screen, and sides of the soft bag are provided with longitudinal adjustable strips.
