    Abstract: A system for powering a water vessel having as its principal components rectangular sails secured to a rectangular frame which in turn is attached to an annular mast rotatably mounted on a plurality of supports rigidly affixed to the vessel. In a second system the supports are rotatably mounted on the vessel in a manner such that the supports and the annular mast may rotate independently of each other.
