  • Extended release hot and cold gel fragrance cartridges and method of making the same

    Abstract: A fragrance dispensing cartridge is disclosed housing either a hot- or cold-type fragrance containing gel. Each gel is housed in a cartridge having an opening, wherein the opening is covered with an air permeable membrane. The membrane is positioned above the gel and permits the fragrant agent to communicate with an environment external to the cartridge housing opening. The composition of the gels and the density and permeability of the membrane can be varied to provide the desired release rate.
