A hinged lid fits onto the bin portion of the tool box and is designed to retain the various containers and trays in position when closed. The area of the lid is enclosed within the profile of the base of the bin to facilitate sitting and standing thereon and to increase stability of the assembly.

Abstract: A container for sockets is fabricated from molded plastic components including opposed sections or segments forming a case with a circular through passage that accepts or retains a socket storage wheel. A rotatable cover fits over the socket storage wheel immediate a molded handle and a molded storage pocket. The cover interacts with a hinged lid associated with an auxiliary storage pocket. Sockets may be stored on pegs positioned on the storage wheels and ratchets, extensions and other tool items may be retained within the auxiliary storage pocket.

Abstract: A multiple drawer, heavy duty cabinet includes a plurality of rectangular, endoskeleton frameworks formed of U-shaped channel members, arrayed in parallel and connected to one another by side, top and bottom panels to define an opening for receipt of slide drawers. A back panel is attached to the cabinet and includes a hinged cover. A locking system is actuated by a key and pull tab through flexible cables and vertical lock bars on the back interior wall of the cabinet.

The top of the cover includes a handle which bridges a recess in the top surface. A workpiece retaining groove is defined in the cover and the handle. The cover further includes storage retaining elements molded on the underside of the cover. The nesting trays include a handle in the lower tray which projects through an opening in the upper tray and nests in an aligned handle associated with the upper tray. The handles of the separate trays nest one within the other so that the trays may be simultaneously transported.

Abstract: An improved brake system for use on moveable tool storage cabinets, hospital crash carts and the like which is comprised of brakes and a brake actuator and a brake release means, both operatively connected to the brakes. The improved brake system additionally contains an actuator bracket, whereby the actuation of the brake actuator causes the actuator bracket to swing and use available leverage, thereby allowing the brake system to be actuated using minimal force and to allow for the easy adjustment of tension of the brake system. The brake actuator and the brake release are both foot operated as well as being remotely located from the brakes. The brake system is adjustable and is capable of being fitted with a plurality of brakes.

Abstract: A drawer with an interlocking drawer slide mechanism is disclosed. The mechanism includes a pair of slides, each attached to one side of the drawer and mateable with a slide receiver. Each slide receiver has a pair of guide pins. A plurality of slide receiver supports are provided having openings mateable with the guide pins such that the slide receivers are supported by the slide receiver supports. Each slide receiver includes a slide lock having a drawer catch. A pair of rotatable drawer stops mounted on the drawer releasably catch the drawer catch to hold the drawer in the mechanism.

Gambrel gable extensions on top of each of the side walls cooperate with a roof ridge cap and attached roof panels to define a roof. The lower pitch panels of the roof are hinged to the upper roof panels. An internal shelf is provided extending between the back wall and the side walls to the midline of the shed where it connects with a downwardly extending wall that depends from the roof ridge cap.
