Abstract: Generally, a linear position monitor including a rotatable member having a toothed periphery configured to directly rotatably engage a longitudinal linear portion of a spiral thread coupled to an elongate member whereby an amount of linear travel of the elongate member directly reversibly rotatably drives the rotatable member operationally coupled to a linear position indicator calibrated to translate rotation of the rotatable member about the rotation axis into an elongate member location value corresponding to a location of the elongate member in the amount of linear travel.
Abstract: A fluid flow conditioning conduit for a fluid flow control gate which generates a conditioned fluid flow coupled to a flow meter which measures the velocity of the conditioned fluid flow allowing calculation of the volume of the conditioned fluid flow.

Abstract: A slide gate having a frame assembly including an intermediate cross member coupled between a first and second gate guide members defining a corresponding pair of side channel elements each containing an elongate side seal which abut opposed ends of an elongate top seal secured to the intermediate cross member to seal a gate slidely engaged in the pair of side channel elements.

Abstract: A system, a method, and an electronic platform provide co-management for two or more business entities. In one aspect, the disclosure provides for a method including retrieving an electronic record for a client and storing first electronic record information for the client corresponding to a diagnosis of the client by the first business entity. The client is referred to the second business entity in response to the recommended service of the client, corresponding to service provided by the second business entity. The electronic record is provided to the second business entity, and second electronic record is stored for the client corresponding to service of the client by the second healthcare business entity. At least one follow-up visit is scheduled for the client at one of the first business entity or the second business entity.
Abstract: A writing instrument having a selective engagement mechanism includes a first barrel portion with a writing tip and a second barrel portion. A docking collar with male projections extending laterally therefrom is associated with one of the first and second barrel portions, and for each male projection, at least one complementary track is provided in a track-carrying member associated with the other of the first and second barrel portions. A biasing element, such as a gasket, facilitates securement of the first and second barrel portions when engaged with one another.
Abstract: A device for emptying hot particle material from a chamber into a transport container. The container is provided with a first pipe that can be inserted into the particle material in the chamber, and a second pipe that is connected to a vacuum source via a precipitator. The first and second pipes communicate with the upper part of the container and are spaced from each other to permit rejection of particle material in the container. The container has an outlet in its lower, downwardly narrowing part. The outlet is provided with a valve. A vertical chute surrounds the outlet, extends downwardly therefrom, and has an evacuation pipe for withdrawal of powder mixed with air that is generated inside the shaft, while particle material is being emptied through the outlet and outlet valve. The container includes a heat exchanger to cool the powder material deposited in the container. An air flow into the container.
