Abstract: A showerhead assembly including a filter cartridge assembly having a replaceable filter cartridge. The showerhead assembly includes a water-directing and filtering assembly having a body portion and a face portion removably affixed to the body portion. The filter cartridge assembly includes a split filter cartridge housing and filter cartridge. A first part of the filter cartridge housing is disposed in the body portion and a second part is disposed in the face portion. The filter cartridge includes a casing and spaced apart first and second end walls, an inlet connector extending axially from the first end wall, and an outlet connector extending axially from the second end wall and being offset from the filter cartridge central axis. The second end wall includes a first recess extending linearly between a peripheral edge of the second end wall and the outlet connector outer surface and passing through the filter cartridge central axis.

Abstract: An automatic valve actuator unit and method for use with an associated manual shutoff valve configured to permit or restrict the flow of fluid through an associated supply pipe. The unit comprises a housing, an attachment mechanism for securing the housing to at least one of the associated supply pipe or manual shutoff valve, and an actuator at least partially supported in the housing and having an output shaft extending from the housing. The output shaft includes a locating member supported at a distal end thereof for non-rotatingly engaging a surface of a valve handle of the associated manual shutoff valve adjacent a point of attachment of the handle to the associated manual shutoff valve, the locating member configured to center the output shaft over an axis of rotation of the handle of the associated manual shutoff valve.

The peripheral edge portion has a first density and the floor engaging surface portion has a second density, the first density being greater than the second density. The peripheral edge portion extends away from the floor engaging surface portion such that the peripheral edge portion does not contact an associated supporting surface when the floor engaging surface portion is in contact with the associated supporting surface, whereby the peripheral edge portion has a relatively more durable surface as compared to the floor engaging surface portion.

Abstract: A repel assembly and method includes an engagement surface having an adhesive plane for securing to an object, a plurality of attachment spikes extending from the engagement surface at an angle transverse to the adhesive plane and a transport surface for supporting a fixture coupled to the plurality of attachment spikes, the fixture being positioned between the engagement surface and the transport surface. The repel assembly further includes an annular ring having an upper and lower ring coupled to the repel assembly, the lower ring having first and second ends spaced by a wiper body such that the annular ring repels debris from contacting and/or collecting on the transport surface.

Abstract: A caster assembly including a plate assembly configured to support an object to be moved; and a yoke assembly rotatably connected to the plate assembly including a caster wheel for rolling engagement with a surface. The plate assembly includes an upper plate and a lower plate coupled by a connector defining a swivel axis. The plate assembly includes a notched ring concentric about the swivel axis of rotation, the notched ring including a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart detent notches. The yoke assembly includes a yoke and a pair of spaced apart legs extending from the yoke supporting the caster wheel, the yoke disposed between the top and bottom plates and rotatable about the swivel axis. A lock assembly mounted to the yoke includes a bolt movable between an unlocked swivel position and a locked position in which the bolt engages a selected one of the plurality of detent notches.

An endless advancement structure includes a flow plate fixed to the housing and a gearing arrangement rotatable relative to the flow plate. The flow plate includes a first opening in fluid communication with the first outlet and a second opening in fluid communication with the second outlet. The gearing arrangement includes third openings in fluid communication with the inlet. A handle is coupled to the gearing arrangement for selectively rotating the gearing arrangement in a single direction relative to the flow plate to alternate between placing the gearing arrangement in a first condition aligning one of the third openings with the first opening and placing the gearing arrangement in a second condition aligning one of the third openings with the second opening.
