Abstract: A lamp assembly selectively engageable with a frame member of a cattle chute without using tools. The frame member is received into a channel of a mounting assembly of the lamp assembly. A locking mechanism is pivoted to lock the mounting assembly around the frame member. The orientation of the lamp is adjusted by pivoting a support assembly connected to the lamp into a desired position relative to the mounting assembly and engaging locking pins to retain the support assembly in the selected orientation. The lamp includes a plurality of LEDs that are actuated to shine light into the cattle chute. The lamp assembly is removed from the chute frame member by pivoting the locking mechanism back to an unlocked position and then moving the mounting assembly in a direction that causes the frame member to exit the channel.

Abstract: A feed assembly for a foot-pedal operated riveter and a method of using the same is disclosed. The feed assembly includes a rivet stop that has a tip that separates a lowermost fastener from a second from lowermost fastener when the riveter is in a non-operational position. This rivet stop prevents fasteners from sliding down a raceway on the feed assembly. When the riveter is moved into an operational position, the rivet stop moves out of the way and permits the second from lowermost fastener to slide into position for subsequent installation. The rivet stop thus enables automatic reloading of the riveter during operation.

The bar includes first and second members pivotally engaged together. A crossbar pivotally mounted on the bar includes first and second arms configured to engage handles on a lower front end of the chute. When the bar is in a collapsed position, where the first and second members are disposed at an angle to each other, the first and second arms are insertable into the chute handles. When the bar is moved to an erected position, where the first and second members are aligned along the same plane, a force is applied to a footrest on the bar. The arms lift the front end of the chute off the ground and the cart's wheels move under the front end of the chute.

Abstract: A foot operated riveter with changeable feed assembly and a method of use is disclosed. The riveter includes a slot which is shaped and configured to receive a complementary connector provided on one or more feed assemblies. Each feed assembly is provided to hold and supply a different type of fastener for securing workpieces together. The connector on the feed assembly also includes a locking member for locking the feed assembly to the riveter. The riveter also includes an enclosed linkage assembly which connects the foot pedal to a plunger which drives a fastener presented by the engaged feed assembly into one or more workpieces.

Abstract: An edge beveling tool for working leather including a handle; a cutting member comprising an arm with first and second ends, cutting surface(s) being provided on the second end, and a spring assembly for removably engaging the cutting member with the handle. The first end of the cutting member is inserted into a slot defined in the handle and is engaged by the spring assembly. The spring assembly is a spring clip which urges the first end of the cutting member into contact with an interior wall of the handle. When it is desired to replace the first cutting member with a second cutting member having a different cutting profile, the first cutting member is grasped and pulled out of the slot. A first end of the second cutting member is then inserted into the slot where the spring clip urges it contact with the interior wall of the handle.
