Abstract: The present invention provides methods and systems for delivering Internet-derived content to mobile devices with non-persistent connectivity. The methods include the creation of a small, high-quality, representative subset of content from the Internet, which is delivered to the mobile devices. The systems and methods allow updating of Internet-derived content present on the mobile devices. Further, the systems and methods allow delivery and updating of the Internet-derived content based on user interests. Systems and methods for enabling commercial transactions, using a device with non-persistent connectivity have been provided in the present invention.
