Abstract: A device for shredding material has a shredding rotor, which revolves about an axis of rotation and supports at least one blade, and a first counter-blade which cooperates with the blade of the shredding rotor. A feed plate is provided here, which is mounted to be rotatable about a pivot axis and which is connected to an actuator, in particular to an electric motor, so that, with the aid of the actuator, the feed plate can be brought into a feed position, in which the material to be shredded can lie on a first main surface of the feed plate and can slide along this in the direction of the shredding rotor, and into a first pressing position in which the material to be shredded is likewise pressed with the first main surface of the feed plate against the shredding rotor and shredded between the blade and the first counter-blade.
Abstract: In a briquetting press, the delivery end of a compressing cylinder is closed by a swivellable cylinder bottom which can be displaced between a working position which is in alignment with the axis of the compressing cylinder and an unblocking position which unblocks the end of the compressing cylinder.
Abstract: A comminution machine comprises a rotor which is equipped with blade elements and interacts with at least one counter-blade that is mounted stationarily in the housing. The rotor is separated by a sieve from a collection compartment for comminuted material. The rotor has a rotor base having through-openings, in which rotor base a screw is arranged. In this way, the rotor itself can be used as an additional sieve via which sufficiently comminuted material can be discharged.
Abstract: A comminution machine for waste includes a rotor that carries blade elements and cooperates with counter-blades, which are fixed to the housing. The rotor is driven by a synchronous motor that is excited by a controllable frequency converter. In order to keep the connected power of the comminution machine small and nevertheless be able to apply a large torque to the rotor, the synchronous motor acts upon the rotor via a reduction gearing and a clutch.
Abstract: A grinder for comminuting waste material comprises a frame structure (18, 20). A grinding rotor (24) is rotatably carried by the frame structure (18, 20.) The grinding rotor (24) carries a plurality of cutting tools (36) cooperating with a counter blade (26, 28) carried by the frame structure (18, 20). Two plate chain conveyors (68, 70) are vertically aligned so that working runs (80, 120) thereof form a converging moving wall funnel positively feeding pieces (146, 148) of material to be comminuted towards a grinding unit (12) formed by the grinding rotor (24) and the counter blade (26, 28).
