    Abstract: A well abandonment apparatus is described. The apparatus can be run on drillstring and does not require the use of explosives to sever the casing. The apparatus includes both a cutting device to perforate and sever the casing and a sealing device to prevent well fluids from reaching the surface while the well abandonment operation is proceeding.
