Abstract: A hair cutting machine (10) having a handle (12) that contains an electromotive drive unit (49) and having a cutter head (16) that is disposed at the front handle end and, in the operating position of the handle (12), has a stationary blade (18) and an oscillating blade (20) disposed above it, the stationary and oscillating blades (18, 20) forming a cutting plane (22) that lies between the two blades (18, 20) and is inclined in relation to the longitudinal axis (24) of the handle (12). In the operating position of the handle (12), the cutting plane (22) is inclined downward in relation to the longitudinal axis (24) of the handle (12) and the oscillating blade (20) is disposed above the stationary blade (18), which makes it possible to produce a haircut that is comparable to a classic scissors cut (FIG. 9).
Abstract: A preferably clear or transparent agent in gel form for carrying out oxidative treatments in various application fields, for example cosmetics, dental technology, pharmacy and cleaning agents. The agent is particularly well suited for use in cosmetic hair treatments such as, for example, blonding, oxidative hair coloring, and permanent hair deformation. The agent contains a mixture of an oxidant, at least one peroxide stabilizer, at least one specific polymer thickener and water or an aqueous solvent.
Abstract: The present application relates to cationic pyrazolone dyes of the general formula (I), and to coloring agents for keratin fibers comprising these dyes.
Abstract: The present invention has for an object agents for coloring keratin fibers and containing at least one indolylthiazoliumazo dye of general formula (I)
Abstract: The wax product for treating or setting up a hairstyle or hairdo includes a composition containing at least one wax or wax-like substance, at least one non-volatile liquid hydrophobic oil and at least one volatile or easily volatilized hydrophobic substance that is a liquid or gas at room temperature. Because of the presence of the volatile substance in the composition a soft wax easily worked in the hair is obtained when the composition is applied to the hair. This soft wax hardens on the hair when the volatile ingredients evaporate. When the composition includes a propellant gas a wax with a larger surface area (wax snow) is produced, which is likewise easily worked into the hair and very effectively fixes or sets the hair.

Abstract: A cosmetic preparation in gel form is described which contains undissolved, water-swollen polymer particles and at the interface with gaseous substances forms reversibly a grainy, uneven, light-scattering surface and at the interface with solids forms reversibly a smooth, level, non-light-scattering surface. Preferred gel formers are superabsorbing polymers. A preferred use is the hair-end protection in permanent wave treatment.

Abstract: The agent for coloring keratin fibers, especially human hair, contains at least one common cosmetic additive; an oxidant, such as hydrogen peroxide; and at least one naphthalene derivative of formula (I): wherein A1 and A2 are different from each other and, independently of each other, each denote a partial structure of formula (II), (IIIa), (IIIb), (IV), (V), or (VI): E is O or S; Y is N or a quaternary nitrogen atom substituted with a C1-C6-alkyl group, a C2-C4-hydroxyalkyl group, or a C4-C6-polyhydroxyalkyl group. New naphthalene derivatives are also described.
Abstract: The present invention has for an object agents for the simultaneous brightening and dyeing of keratin fibers—particularly hair—characterized in that they contain a) at least one oxidant and (b) at least one indolylthiazoliumazo dye of formula (I) and that, (c) they have a basic pH
