  • Patent number: 7083810
Abstract: A cosmetic preparation in gel form is described which contains undissolved, water-swollen polymer particles and at the interface with gaseous substances forms reversibly a grainy, uneven, light-scattering surface and at the interface with solids forms reversibly a smooth, level, non-light-scattering surface. Preferred gel formers are superabsorbing polymers. A preferred use is the hair-end protection in permanent wave treatment.

  • Publication number: 20050229422
Abstract: A device (1) for a hair dryer (2), having a fan (3) and a heater (4) for generating a central hot-air stream (5) and a concentric cold-air stream (6) at a blower opening (7). As the device (1), an air nozzle attachment (8) embodied as connectable to the blower opening (7) is provided of a kind such that the air nozzle attachment (8), from the central hot-air stream (5) and the concentric cold-air stream (6) of the hair dryer (2), generates a hot-air stream (9) and a cold-air stream (10) that are located side by side (FIG. 1).

  • Patent number: 6945254
Abstract: The method for simultaneously dyeing and permanent shaping of hair includes dividing the hair into strands an winding the strands onto curlers: mixing a hair shaping component (A) containing from 6 to 15 percent by weight of a keratin-reducing substance with a dye component (B) to form a dyeing and shaping composition prior to application on the hair; treating the hair with the dyeing and shaping composition and then allowing it to act on the hair for an acting time sufficient for the permanent shaping; after that, treating the hair with a fixing composition; allowing the fixing composition to act on the hair from 1 to 40 minutes and then subsequently rinsing the hair. The dye component (B) contains at least one oxidative coupler compound and at least one oxidative dyestuff selected from a group consisting of certain 4,5-diamino-pyrazole derivatives and certain aminophenol derivatives.
