At least one other implement is disposed in this interior space so as to pivot about a transverse axis connecting the two lateral sides. The knife/cutting pliers further comprises a plurality of removable implements to which the user can have access by lifting up a magazine lid over at least one portion of this interior space. The implements are held in the lid by a plurality of corresponding accommodations.

Abstract: Pocket knife, having at least one side fabricated from a molded plastic material, includes a decorative element, for example a cross, inlaid flush with an outer surface of the side. The decorative element is stamped from a sheet of steel to provide a cross and a square frame which are positioned with respect to each other by two attachments. A greater portion of each attachment is pressed down, by stamping, from a curved first plane occupied by the cross and the frame to a lower second plane under the curved first plane. This greater portion is covered over by the molded plastic material. At least one portion of lateral flanks of the decorative element is disposed at an inclined angle in order to be partially covered over with the molded plastic material. Only one single operation is required for injecting the side of the pocket knife and for inlaying the decorative element in the outer surface of the side of the pocket knife.

Abstract: The tool magazine has the general shape of a "Swiss knife"; it comprises essentially at least one stocking implement or blade extractable from the body, fixing means being provided on at least one face of said stocking implement or blade in order to receive a plurality of removable tools. Means being provided, on the body or on the tool, respectively, in order to provide a handle for the tool on the body.

Abstract: A multifunctional pocket knife, in particular a Swiss knife, has lateral sides serving as a handle, and including at least one cigar cutter able to pivot or slide in a plane parallel to the inner faces of the lateral sides. The cigar cutter includes two rounded scissor elements pivoting, one with respect to the other, about a first axis pivot. One end of the first element is able to pivot about a second axis pivot enabling the first element to be pulled out of the knife. A spring blade, which can be pulled out, allows the scissor elements to be kept spaced open when they are pulled out of the knife. The spring blade limits the pivoting path of the second element about the second pivot axis. An elastic back blade transmits a constant force to the second scissor element through the agency of the spring blade.

Abstract: A multifunctional pocket tool, for example a Swiss army knife, folding pen knife or knife-pliers, has at least one retractable implement and includes removable screwing attachments, for example Phillips attachments, flat screwdrivers, socket wrench or socket keys or corkscrews, which can be fixed perpendicularly to one of the lateral faces of the tool. The attachments are preferably attached by using a hexagonal opening in one side of the tool. The location of the opening is selected so as not to impede the manipulation of other implements. In one variant, a ratchet is integrated in the pocket tool. The ratchet is not reversible, but the attachments can be attached by using the two sides of the ratchet. A handle, serving normally to operate another implement, also enables operation of the ratchet. A removable adapter can be placed on a little screwdriver for fixing other removable screwing attachments.

The pocket knife comprises a pair of bolster linings superposedly fixed to each other and defining a space therebetween, a cutting blade slidably mounted in the space relative to one of the linings and adjacent thereto, a leaf spring fixed to the other lining in the space, one end of the leaf spring adapted to abut against the end of the blade when the latter is projecting partly out of the linings, a knob connected to the end of the blade and extending out of a slot provided through the first lining, the knob being pivotingly connected to the end of the blade and adapted to push on the leaf spring and retract the latter from abutment with the end of the blade.
