Abstract: A support for a suction or ventilation hose extending upwardly through an open manhole and in a horizontal disposition from the manhole to a water pump intake or air pump including a lower horizontal support surface, a pair of laterally spaced side walls extending upwardly from the lower horizontal support surface and a generally U-shaped hose support surface extending along a curvilinear path between the side walls from a lower rear portion of the support to an elevated forward portion thereof. A depending stop is disposed rearwardly adjacent to the lower support surface. The stop defines a curvilinear abutment surface adapted to extend into an open manhole and abut a perimeter portion thereof upon the lower support surface being positioned adjacent to the manhole. A strap securement is provided for securing a portion of a hose against the hose support surface on said hose support.

Abstract: A variable capacity centrifugal pump assembly including a bearing housing, an impeller shaft rotatably mounted within the bearing housing and projecting therefrom, a volute circumscribing a cavity therein, a plurality of differently sized impellers for mounting on the impeller shaft within the cavity, a wear plate secured to the bearing housing and a volute and defining a downstream end portion of the cavity, a plurality of differently configured annular front covers for mounting to an upstream end of the volute for varying the size and configuration of the cavity to accommodate one of a selected plurality of differently sized impellers. The suction intake is mounted to the upstream end of the selected cover for communicating the pipe assembly with inlet hoses of varying size whereby the capacity of the pump assembly can be varied by the selective matching of the front covers with the impellers.

Abstract: A pipe crib-block for supporting a portion of hose or pipe in an elevated disposition. The pipe crib-block comprises a body portion causing a generally flat lower support surface and an upper surface defining a generally wedge-shaped trough in a central portion thereof. A pair of engagement keys project upwardly from the upper surface on opposed sides of the trough and a pair of key receiving apertures are disposed in the lower surface of the body portion. The apertures are axially aligned with the engagement keys and configured to receive therein and cooperate with the engagement keys on a second pipe crib-block such that two or more pipe crib-blocks can be stacked in interlocked parallel or perpendicular orientations so as to define a supporting structure for the pipe or hose at variable elevations.
