  • Patent number: 10775029
Abstract: A spotlight system including a spotlight continuously rotatable about a spotlight pan axis and tiltable about a spotlight tilt axis. The system includes a spotlight controller including a housing continuously rotatable about a controller pan axis. The housing has a circumferential lip that engages with a fixed based and a hub engaged with a handle. The handle rotates about a controller tilt axis perpendicular to the controller pan axis. A controller board is electrically connected to a slip ring that penetrates the base, with a pan input sensor, a tilt input sensor, and a microprocessor. The pan input sensor measures the position of the housing relative to the base, the tilt input sensor measures the position of the handle relative to the housing, and the microcontroller interprets the positions and generates control signals corresponding to the direction of a spotlight.

  • Patent number: 10678559
Abstract: Software is used to allow inputs to a microcontroller to have primary and alternate functions, which reduces the need for additional inputs and associated conductors in a programmable device such as a warning signal light. The microcontroller firmware includes a routine that detects the state of inputs during a first predetermined period of time after initialization of the microcontroller. The state of the inputs is used to activate alternate modes of operation in which changes in the state of the inputs is detected and used for functions different than a function associated with the same input in another mode of operation.

  • Patent number: 10674622
Abstract: A seal structure includes a container, a sealant applied in liquid form that cures to a gel, and a cap that applies pressure to the gel. The container surrounds at least one opening in an assembly for the passage of elongated members such as wires. The container defines a chamber that is in communication with the opening and surrounds the wires passing through the opening. A closure spans the opening and is in contact with an inner end of the container. The chamber and the at least opening are partially filled with a predetermined quantity of sealant in liquid form, which cures into a viscous gel. The cap is configured to engage with the container and includes a platform that is positioned within the container and in contact with the gel sealant. In this arrangement, the cap applies positive pressure to the gel sealant.
