Abstract: A sailboat race tracking system includes a race computer and a sailboat computing device authenticated to the race computer. The sailboat computing device transmits position data as a function of time to the race computer. An event organizer computing device sets a race start time and transmits the race start time to the race computer. The race computer receives the position data as a function of time from multiple sailboat computing devices and syncs it according to the race start time. The race computer transmits the time-synced position data of the sailboat computing devices to the sailboat computing devices and spectator computing devices for display.

Abstract: Security system for cloud computing that will improve the security of users' authentications to cloud data and resources. User authentication to cloud resources requires analyzing confidence in the hardware used to transmit the authentication for access to the cloud data and/or resource. User authentication can be transmitted after the user confirms administrative rights and/or physical security control over the hardware used to transmit the authentication for access to the cloud data and/or resource. The hardware used to access the cloud data and/or resource can be analyzed for malicious code before the user authentication is transmitted. The authentication can be provided on a hardware token, and the system can execute on the hardware token to analyze hardware confidence and thereafter transmit the user authentication.

Abstract: A record protection system for a networked database is provided. The system includes a client, a host processor accessible by the client via a telecommunications network, a database accessible by the host processor and containing at least one data record, software executing on the host processor for receiving data from the client for one or more fields of the data record, software executing on the processor for receiving data from a source, software executing on the host processor for comparing the data received from the client to the data received from the source, and software executing on the host processor to prevent editing of the data record by the client if the at least a portion of the data received from the client matches the data received from the source.
