Abstract: An electronic sound recording device having a housing, a housing wall and an opening through which sound can enter. The housing has a printed circuit board having a through-hole as a sound channel. A microphone has a microphone port mounted on and facing the printed circuit board and open to the through-hole. A sound duct having a sound passage arranged between the printed circuit board and housing wall. The sound passage connects the opening of the housing wall to the through-hole of the printed circuit board. The device has a washer having a bore and arranged between the printed circuit board and the sound duct such that the sound passage is connected to the through-hole of the printed circuit board via the bore. To achieve effective acoustic low pass filtering, the bore has a diameter smaller than both a diameter of the through-hole and a diameter of the sound passage.

Abstract: A method for operating a hearing aid, in which, with a microphone, an overall audio signal is detected. A background signal is determined in the overall audio signal. An artificial noise is created depending on the background signal and added to the overall audio signal, and the overall audio signal is output by an output device. Also described is a hearing aid and a method for operating the hearing aid system.
Abstract: A hearing assistance device comprises a housing component (32, 33) enclosing processing circuitry arranged in a compact block structure (20), at least one actively driven antenna element (23, 24) arranged in between the compact block structure (20) and the housing component (32, 33), and a parasitic element (25, 26) integrated in the housing component (32, 33) and extending along at least a part of the at least one actively driven antenna element (23, 24). The parasitic element (25, 26) is electrically isolated from the at least one actively driven antenna element (23, 24).
Abstract: The invention relates to a tool for inserting an ear-tip of a hearing aid into an auditory canal of an end user. The tool comprises a first part and a second part, which are movable in relation to each other around at least one pivot joint. A cavity for receiving a holding portion of the ear-tip is provided between the first and the second part, which cavity is enlarged when a second portion of the first part and a second section of the second part are pressed together.
Abstract: A differential delta-sigma-modulator has an integrator including a pair of single-ended amplifiers. A sample clock is driving a first switchable capacitor configuration and a second switchable capacitor configuration at a predetermined switching cycle. The first switchable capacitor configuration is adapted for sampling respective outputs from the pair of single-ended amplifiers on a pair of output sampling capacitors in the first part of the switching cycle. The second switchable capacitor configuration is adapted for charging a common mode capacitor with the average voltage of the voltage sampled by the pair of output sampling capacitors in the second part of the switching cycle. The voltage across the common mode capacitor represents the common mode voltage for the integrator.
