Abstract: A costume component is disclosed comprising a T-shirt, a cape component, a hood component, and, in one embodiment, a mask component. The mask component is securable to the hood component. Preferably the hood and the cape components are integral so as to be placeable upon and removable from the T-shirt. A conventional garment securement means is used to releasably attach the cape component (secured to the hood component) to the rear shoulders of the T-shirt for ease of placement and removal by the user. The securement means is preferably a set of buttons and buttonholes, male and female snap components, hook and loop Velcro-like fasteners, or other common garment attachment means, and allows a user to wear the costume component without the need for a full body or upper torso component which is often too bulky or warm.
Abstract: Footwear having plastic or rubber soles and having molded protruding hang tabs from the soles for use in the pairing of footwear together. Each sole having a plurality of protruding hang tabs molded at spaced-apart positions along a perimeter edging of the sole. The plurality of hang tabs includes a first hang tab positioned on the toe end of the sole, a second hang tab positioned on the heel end of the sole, a third hang tab positioned on the inside section of the sole, and/or a fourth hang tab positioned on the outside section of the sole. One or more of the hang tabs have plastic fasteners and the like attached thereto for connecting a pair of the soles together. The hang tabs are being removable from the soles after purchase by cutting off each hang tab from the perimeter edging of the sole.
Abstract: A method of making a mask slipper, comprising the steps of forming a mask from a material selected from the group consisting of plastic, latex and fabric; forming a composite sole member having a first layer of inner filler material; forming a composite upper member having a second layer of inner filler material, an outer surface for receiving the mask, and an inner surface for receiving an inner lining. The method of making the mask slipper further composes the steps of attaching said mask to said outer surface of the composite upper member; attaching the inner lining to the inner surface of the composite upper member; attaching the composite sole member to the composite upper member to form the mask slipper; and turning of the mask slipper such that a correct outer side is on the outside of the formed mask slipper.
Abstract: A footwear sole include a rubber inner sole and a textile outer sole. The textile outer sole is at least partially impregnated into at least one surface of the inner sole. A method of forming a footwear sole includes the steps of forming at least one inner sole and at least partially impregnating a textile material into at least a portion of at least one surface of the inner sole.
