    Abstract: An adjustable work top, in particular suitable for a kitchen, comprising means for vertically adjusting the work top. Said means for vertically adjusting the work top comprise at least one electric motor-driven lifting device attachable vertically to a wall. Said lifting device is provided with attachment members for a horizontally extending carrier arm for the work top mountable in cantilever fashion, and an electric control device is provided for controlling the electric motor.
