Abstract: A convertible vehicle has a movable roof with a rearward roof part closed divided into a middle region including a rear window and two lateral outer regions. The middle region is upwardly displaceable with respect to the outer regions during the opening of the roof. The movable roof is configured such that the top end of the middle region is connected to the forward roof part, which is held above the rearward roof part when the roof is open. The lower region of the middle region is connected to a movement linkage to move this region upwardly relative to the outer regions during the opening of the roof.
Abstract: A vehicle having a B-pillar, a side-sill arrangement into which the B-pillar extends and a transverse reinforcement that extends in the transverse direction to above the side-sill arrangement and adjacent to a lower end of the B-pillar, is characterized in that a plate-like impact element arranged in the longitudinal direction and upright, is connected on an inside side outer end of transverse reinforcement.

Abstract: A convertible vehicle with a roof that can be stowed in the rear area of the vehicle, wherein when the roof is closed, an area in front of the rear roof seal relative to the direction of travel and below a rear window can be at least partially covered by a cover in the manner of a rear shelf, the cover being recessed when the roof is opened. The cover comprises a center section and outer sections situated to its sides in relation to the transverse direction of the vehicle, which, when the roof is open, are folded in relative to the center section in an at least nearly opposite orientation.
Abstract: A component of an adjustment mechanism for a vehicle roof of a convertible, designed to be adjustable between a first position and a second position, which is exposed to alternating loads as a function of its position and is topologically and/or topographically adjusted to the loads acting on component for a predefined design space, so that a uniform stress distribution is at least approximately present in component, at least in critical load situations, and the component is designed in the areas with limited load with less use of material than in the areas with higher load, or with a recess.

Abstract: The invention relates to a motor vehicle comprising at least one displaceable roof section, which when closed abuts the windscreen frame at the front of the vehicle and whose lateral outer areas respectively abut a support. The supports can be relocated in lateral columns of the windscreen frame, where the ends of said supports at the front of the vehicle and the section of said supports lying in the exit region of the lateral column are guided without play in a housing channel that is formed by the respective lateral column, by means of a respective roller bearing, at a defined distance from the wall of the receiving channel. An optimized guidance system and stability are achieved, if the end of the support at the rear of the vehicle is held in a central manner in a locking device on a rear roof section. Said locking device is configured with a cylindrical fastening element comprising a centring recess, in which a rocker-mounted locking lever, designed to engage in a cavity of the support, is located.
